The D.C. Society of Forty Plus Professionals exists to create a positive and exciting environment for Forty Plus professionals in the greater D.C. area.

Most of our members are over age forty. You do not have to be over age forty to attend; you just have to wish to attend an event where the majority of attendees will be over age forty.

We host regular unique activities in Washington, D.C. These activities offer and introduce our members (membership is free!) to new and fun activities, and they also serve as an opportunity for our members to meet, socialize, and network in a conducive atmosphere. Most people come alone to our events, and we especially welcome those new to D.C. to join us.

Our events include cultural evenings at various embassies, balls, upscale dinners, art openings, seminars, parties, private museum tours, outdoor activities, trips, happy hours, martini tastings, and similar activities. In organizing these events, our goal is to introduce the District of Columbia's community of Forty Plus professionals to new cultural and social experiences in a friendly and social setting.

We also have a separate 25 and under group for people interested in attending events where the majority of attendees are age 25 and under.
